Located in San Francisco, Under 1 Umbrella is "Dedicated to keeping people dry one umbrella at a time". CELEBS! BANDS! GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS! SPORTS TEAMS! KNOWN ARTISTS! Contact me ASAP about supporting this organization. Please consider painting and autographing an umbrella for a fundraiser donation. Cash and new, logo free umbrellas also needed. High end designer umbrellas being accepted by donation to auction at funsraisers. Umbrellas will be distributed through existing organizations to children, adults, seniors and HIV+ people in need at no cost. 1st project is to make sure a umbrella is included in every donated childs school backpack.

How to paint a umbrella

How to paint an umbrella:
Open umbrella. Cut a thick piece of cardboard to back first section of umbrella that you wish to paint. Cover working area with newspapers. You may paint your umbrella by freehand or by using a pencil mark or chalk to outline your design.
Follow manufacturer’s directions for painting. Some fabric paints require the additon of fixatives or ironing the umbrella after painting. A clear coat may be added for added outside protection. Umbrella can be used as decorative purposes as well.
Repeat process for whole umbrella. Leave umbrella in open position and let dry for 24-48hrs. Make sure umbrella is completely dry before folding.
