I'm a big fan of startups.
Overcoming the odds and "making it" is a huge accomplishment for any budding company. That sense of accomplishment has attracted me to work for several startups in the past ten years. Some fared well, some didn't but my dedication and determination to get the company "to the next level" has always been there no matter the organization.
The five years I invested at GoDaddy.com taught me a lot about running a business, customer service, and how to creatively mine data to discover new sales opportunities. In 2002, I started the Executive Accounts department, their highest revenue generating sales group, which now handles millions of domain names for GoDaddy's top domain customers. In 2003, I turned their billing department around from being a cost-center to a profit center. In 2004, I managed GoDaddy's SSL certificate issuing department through 100% growth within two years. In 2006, I managed three separate software development teams that all focused on site-building software which resulted in $20M in revenue and a quarter million new web sites.
I thoroughly enjoy fast paced work environments where I can offer new revenue generating ideas since the ever present challenge to come up with fresh new ideas to get customers wanting more is what drives me.
Currently I operate an import/distribution business with customers around the globe however I'm open to new work opportunities and if the right opportunity presents itself, I would have no problems selling my current business and stepping up to the challenge.

* Online community forum dynamics
- getting those not interested in participating online - interested.
- allowing the "smarties" to offer their knowledge to the "not so smarties"
- content saturation and the resulting attrition of users
