Clayton Glen is currently Commercial Director with HDA (www.hda.co.uk), a privately-owned UK-based human capital consultancy, headquartered in London.
He has accountability for all commercial and professional activity across the company's business streams, and manages a commercial team which delivers consultancy to organisations like: MTV, J P Morgan, Lehman Brothers, Fidelity Investments, Universal Music, Paramount, EMAP, Honda, McAfee, Orange, Sony BMG, SimplyHealth, Greater London Authority, Serco, Pepsico Frito-Lay and others.
(HDA provides consultancy, facilitation and coaching in the areas of talent management, team engagement, leadership development, organisational change and career transition).
Clayton has previously held senior commercial and HR roles in the UK, the USA, continental Europe and in Southern Africa; in a range of industries, including chemicals/fmcg, automotive, e-commerce consulting and mobile technology. He has an MBA from the University of Wales, and has lectured (part-time) in Human Resources Strategy on the same programme.
Prior to joining HDA, he was Head of HR & Finance with a high-speed venture capital funded mobile technology start-up (www.shazam.com), where he had accountability for building an international team and infrastructure in London and the USA. Prior to his time at Shazam, he had international HR accountability for Viant, one of the dot.com era's 'fast-four' e-commerce consultancies.
