Christopher Ride’s Summary

Christopher Ride was born in Canberra in 1965. By the time he was 20-years-old he had lived in seven different countries including Burma, Peru, Turkey, Canada, Tanzania and the United States. In 1984 he joined IBM as a mainframe hardware engineer and settled in Melbourne. After 8 years with "Big Blue" Christopher joined the start-up company, Interactive Pty Ltd, as a sales person. By 1999 he became both Managing Director and one of Interactive's two major shareholders. Employing more than 220 staff, Interactive is now one of the largest independent IT service providers in Australia delivering critical IT services to more than 1300 of Australia's most successful organisations. In his spare time, Christopher wrote the best-selling fiction novel "The Schumann Frequency" and is currently contracted to Random House Australia on a multiple book deal for his Overseer Series. The sequel to "The Schumann Frequency" is being released by Random House in late 2009.
