I am currently a Scientist II in the Biosphere-Atmosphere Interactions group of the Atmospheric Chemistry Division at NCAR. My research focuses on the interactions between vegetation and the atmosphere. I have been working on models that predict the emissions of trace gases and particles from fires and from undisturbed vegetation. I look at how these emissions impact atmospheric chemistry, air quality and climate. As the land surface is changed, due to climate change, land use change, disturbances (like fires or insect infestations), these processes are expected to change, too.
Air quality, Atmospheric Chemistry, Bioshere-Atmosphere Exchanges, emissions modeling, chemical transport modeling
