In this position I help University Advancement's Web Services team with support and development of their Adobe CQ5 content management system.
As a web developer for Ryerson's Career Development & Employment Centre I actively support the Career Vault web application.
I have Developed and integrated new functionality which improved usability, performance, quality of service as well as performance monitoring through statistics.
This position deals largely with front-end and back-end development in Coldfusion.
In this position I performed quality assurance by assessing and testing, as well as correcting faults to ensure a smooth migration of Ryerson web pages from Serena Collage CMS to Adobe CQ.
I also provided support and training for Ryerson staff which helped users transition between content management systems as well as bring to light and resolve migration issues.
In this position I had the opportunity to see Student Financial Aid's OSAP Appointment booking system from conception through to release.
I planned, designed, developed, tested and implemented the Coldfusion web application which enhanced the quality of service provided to staff, faculty and students.
During development I tested, demonstrated and communicated project progress and results with my manager and client; which ensured appropriate design, desired functionality and speedy implementation.
