Chris Goyzueta’s Summary

It is my mission to attain a marketing or booking agent job within a reputable company in the music industry. As many of my mentors have suggested, I started off working in the music industry by getting involved locally. For the past three years, I have worked in talent management, street teams, booking, event planning, event marketing/promotions, public relations, and many other areas with in the local music industry. Within my first year, I started booking and promoting shows at music venues all over Florida. In the past year I started attaining experience in promoting and marketing larger scale concerts by getting involved in talent buying. I have gained experience in the entire process from sending in proposals/offers for talent, booking and purchasing the talent, handling promotions and marketing with local radio station, music magazines, show bills, posters, street promotions, social media marketing, attaining event sponsorships, and then finally executing the show handling everything from catering for the artist, payout, providing excellent customer service, and great hospitality to the talent. In this entire process I have handled all the budgeting and accounting from beginning to the end of each show. I have experience this entire process working with William Morris Agency, The Agency Group, Monterey International, Degy Entertainment, and many other agencies. Some of the venues and promoters I have worked with include: AEG Live, The Social, Back Booth, Club Firestone, Freebird Live, Culture Room, Crowbar, and many other live music venues across the state of Florida, and Southeastern USA.

The most enjoyable moments in my career this far has been the marketing, and event planning. Therefore it is my goal to attain a position within one of these areas working for a reputable company within the music industry. I hope to build a lifelong career within a company with whom I can grow with, apply my personal strengths everyday, and always be successful.
