SVASE, with over 750 individual members, over 5,000 corporate members, and over 10,000 associate members, accelerates the formation, growth and success of high growth, technology based companies, by empowering entrepreneurs. 10 SVASE members received venture funding during 2006.

As a serial entrepreneur I have direct experience with the issues faced by startups, and have had a couple of "learning experiences" that add balance to the successful liquidity events for 6 other companies over the past 30 years.

In addition to my role as President & CEO of SVASE I am an active Board member and Advisor to established and startup companies. I have compiled a comprehensive Guide to Venture Financing, created a course on the Principles of Entrepreneurship for San Jose Sate University, & have recently written a book titled "Learning from Legends" which illustrates key issues with the personal experiences of successful entrepreneurs including Eric Benhamou of Palm, Bill Reichert of Garage Technology Ventures and Umang Gupta of Oracle/Gupta Technologies/Keynote Systems.

I have a BS in Computer Science, and have been featured in and written articles on business and technology issues for the Financial Times, Electronic Times, Linux Journal, Business Week, and other publications.
