Copywriter, Reporter, Editor, Proofreader, Videographer, Multimedia Specialist
Several years of reporting, writing, editing, and managing for a college newspaper and embarking on a one-of-a-kind year-long multimedia internship led me along the path to freelance reporting for a metropolitan daily.
Taking on another internship at a cutting-edge Web and multi-media design firm allowed me to learn a plethora of skills in a creative and challenging field.
Skills include:
- Ease of use with Adobe, Microsoft, and other software.
- Shooting still photos and video
- Writing in a variety of voices, tones, and styles: from technical and formal to relaxed and witty
- Original and thoughtful idea creation
Multimedia software, recording/editing visual and audio hardware, basics to html/Dreamweaver, energetic/creative writing

My time as an intern at the Seattle P-I was spent primarily in the online world.
I maintained "A Byte of MySpace," an Internet-life blog, helped write and edit content for the then-fledgling sPI Recommends Web site and got the chance to write a few news/entertainment articles.
I also helped produce the Seattle P-I's main site on a daily basis, learned audio/video recording and editing and assisted reporters with a variety of other tasks, from online research to man-on-the-street video interviews.
