Experience

Director of Communications and Marketing

Episcopal Divinity School
– Present (3 years 11 months)

Episcopal Divinity School is one of the most progressive and globally respected seminaries in the world. Situated next to Harvard, Radclyffe and Lesley Universities, Episcopal Divinity School is an historic institution that was the first globally to admit black men to the ministry in the mid-19th century. It was the first to start training women for church functions in the 1920s, first to admit women to faculty in the 1940s, first to bless same sex unions at the oncampus chapel in 1986, first to ordain women priests and accept them to faculty in the 1980s and first to have a lesbian president and dean, Katherine Hancock Ragsdale in October, 2009. Under Dean Ragsdale & the Trustees, the school has gone from being near bankrupt in 2007 to flourishing now with an unheard of, in traditional religious circles, entrepreneuralism while retaining a powerful commitment to human rights.
