I fix things. I have system administration background, but work primarily as a programmer. I currently work in C, Perl, SQL, C#/ASP/.NET, php, database administration (SQL Server) and manage a small mixed linux/windows production network.

I am currently a consultant, working mostly full-time for two companies and taking classes part-time at UNO in Computer Science, and I have senior standing as of 2008.

Hopefully, by 2010 I will have managed to graduate and will be looking to figure out what to do with all that spare time.

Database integration, involving SQL, perl and shell scripts, 3rd-party automated data import/export, some HIPAA (835/837 transactions), and implemented our UB04 code. Also a little system administration, primarily involving authentication.

  Run a small network of servers supporting oil industry applications: SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server and Linux, plus general business network support. Perl programs to communicate with webservices via email. Also do maintenance work on our own and customers' regular websites in boring php/mysql.
