Based in Chicago, IL, Bryce Calhoun is the Director of the Midwest Region for Neudesic, one of Microsoft’s leading .NET professional services firms. Neudesic is a Gold Certified, Managed, and NSI (National System Integrator), one of only approximately 80 partners in the US with such status (of the roughly 32K partners). Bryce brings over 13 years working with clients to Scope, Prioritize, Design and Implement multi-million dollar Web-based, OTS, and thick-client based technology applications.
Commencing his career as a programmer at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Bryce spent a few years learning the ins and outs of studio financials, ad-pub materials tracking, digital rights management and home video distribution systems.
Bryce then rode the technology wave of the late 1990’s to Sapient Corporation, where he was directly involved with architecting and delivering numerous large-scale, enterprise-level business-to-consumer and brand-centric Fortune 500 Web sites. Bryce led teams that implemented Web-based solutions for hallmark.com, merloni.com, walmart.com, opodo.com, nissanusa.com and answerfinancial.com. As a Technical Architect, Bryce’s responsibilities included everything from gathering the requirements and staffing the team to designing the solution and managing the implementation.
After Sapient, Bryce moved to Rubin Postaer and Associates, where he took over the technology lead position for the Honda interactive account. He and his team developed a custom caching solution for Microsoft DNA Web sites. That solution allowed highly dynamic and processor-intensive Web operations to be carried out offline, or queued based on a system-assigned priority, thereby ensuring both Web site stability and an immersive, engaging customer experience.
Bryce received his Bachelor of Arts in English, with an Emphasis on Computer Programming, from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is also a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD).
