Brian Quandt's Summary
For over two decades Brian Quandt has been a pioneer of visual and interactive technologies. He has put his considerable expertise to work developing new technologies and award-winning products that allow audio and video to be experienced cleanly, efficiently, safely and beautifully in a huge variety of environments from on the set of a major motion picture, to an exhibit in the Smithsonian, to web sites and living rooms throughout the world.
Today, Quandt is working with A list talent and commerical brands building new business models which create and distribute content to traditional channels as well as into both mobile and broadband markets.
In 2002, Brian Quandt pioneered the first HD digital dailies system, “RushPlay,” which has been used on the set of many A list motion pictures. .
Most recently, Quandt has provided dailies services for “Casino Royale”, "Southland Tales", “Legend of Zorro”, “Waist Deep”, “The number 23”, “Revolver,” “Shaggy Dog,” “Dark Water,” “Weather Man” and “Around the World in 80 Days,” to mention just a few.
