  Since 2001 I have co-curated the The Static Illusion Methodical Madness (SIMM) Music Series, a bi-monthly music performance series that presents a wide cross-section of sound artists and musicians engaged in experimental improvisation and composition.

  Outsound Presents is an emerging 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer collective of explorative sound artists who, among other things, are involved in presenting public performances (two ongoing weekly music series), promotion of collaborative presentations (through mailing lists, word of mouth, and guerilla marketing), and community education (through member outreach, lectures, and performances in local colleges).
  
  Events and works supported by Outsound Presents include the creation of experimental music, avant garde musical composition and improvisation, various forms of sound art including found sound, creative music, new music, noise, musique concrete, minimalism, invented instruments, genre-bending music, and sound that is sculptural or textural in nature.

  I compose music for my jazz ensemble, Noertker's Moxie.
  In the last decade I have composed over 150 original pieces of music for jazz ensemble. My compositions point to the continuity between the jazz tradition and the avant-garde.
  
  I compose music for film.
  I have scored three short films showcasing the unique moving sculptures of David Beck (L'Opéra, Animatique, and Naturecanique).
  I recently finished scoring The Commandments (or the Nostril of Kaknavatos) a short experimental film by Niko Koumoundourous.
  
  I compose chamber music.
  In 2007 I premiered my first string quartet, Eurydice.
  in October 2009 I premiered an extended chamber piece, "Ariadne," for flute, oboe, viola, and cello.
