In less than Six years, from accounting to Management Control, we had the privilege to walk all aspects of the financial management of a business in large groups such as Heineken and Nestlé. Business Planning from Sales & Marketing review through the financial indicators until the final forecasts including Supply chain , are all areas of predilection as controller. Our experience as Sales co pilot allowed us to expand our background in the field of sales as Marketing and sales controller. In all , we have qualities of a complete Controller.
Decision Support Manager :
Responsible of the Monthly Business Planning, prepare budget and forecasts, handle owners capital equities accounts, review of budgets vs. actual to ensure accuracy.
Develop internal control system, recommend areas for improvement both financial and operational
Use financial know-how to improve profits and operations, reduce costs, and develop strategies for the company.
Execute and coordinate accounting period - end closing activities
Establish internal financial / management reports across businesses
Provide clarity and transparency on spend, investment through timely and targeted analysis
Define the operating plan and dynamic focus working assumptions based on market objectives and aligned with process directives
Support head of sales as a trusted Co-Pilot within the sales leadership team (vision, organization, practices, initiatives/projects).
Integrate trade spend in costs inputs for the Operating plan and dynamic focus
Review sales forecast and evaluate /agree gaps against process
Establish/Update agreed targets for total trade spend cost drivers
Review Operating Plan / Dynamic focus deliverables: KPI’s performance against targets / benchmark and develop action plans to close gaps
Elaborate top-level summary ( comments ) of major changes /assumptions and highlights of Operating Plan and Dynamic focus
Participate in planning review meetings and challenge forecasts / updates to planning scenarios
Support strategy execution around Sales objectives and ensure achievement of related financial commitments
Acting as responsible of reporting and accounting closing, we managed to reduce remarkably the time of the accounting period closing with results of compliance to deadline related to the submission of all reporting’s to group. From Internal control to management control, we played a leading role in the implementation of management Dashboard and the improvement of internal control and financial information system.
For a Internet Provider Company started in 2009, we had the opportunity to implement the management control with success by being the link between the financial and commercial department. Implementation related to the sale and inventory management procedures, the implementation of management dashboards, monitoring profitability of different sales channels, validation of commercial and marketing expenses, budgetary control and planning of business have made us a trusted business partner
Accounting (IFRS /IAS) – Internal control - Controlling
Under the supervision of the Chief Accountant and Finance Manager, we have successfully managed to implement the IFRS accounting standards and make clear the general ledger by cleaning all old outstanding which made it difficult to interpret financial statements. Accounting, treasury, internal control and management control have been part of my daily work in this large food company.
