My interests include tsunami and seismic hazard analysis including field investigations and probabilistic studies for the nuclear industry. Previous projects include identifying and analyzing short- and long-term records of coastal hazards, combining numerical models of tsunamis with field observations, and quantifying tectonic events from geomorphology. In past projects I have quantified sea-level variations due to earthquakes and long-term subsidence, performed detailed analysis of tsunami, storm and liquefaction deposits, and combined field and Lidar data determine rates of coastal deformation. Other investigations have combined numerical modeling with field observations such as tsunami deposits and current velocity data.
