R&D Software Engineer / Computer Scientist at Architecture Technology Corporation (ATC)
Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area
I've focused on developing wired and wireless (MANET, ad hoc mesh) network technologies for multi-mode wireless networks, Emergency Response and Tactical networks, geolocation communication and tracking systems; network application test tools; developing, building and securing ad hoc wireless networks; research and development in distributed agent systems; development of custom and COTS software into commercial products; network monitoring research, analysis, and implementation; and software design and implementation.
I am a partially open networker on LinkedIn, mainly looking for R&D partners and opportunities. I also actively use LinkedIn to find and connect with past friends and colleagues. To that end I own or moderate many LinkedIn groups with matching Yahoo Discussion Groups. These groups include:
* LinkedTwinCities / LinkedInTwinCities
* LinkedMinnesota / LinkedInMinnesota
* LinkedIowa / LinkedInIowa
* 4-H_Alum_Networking
* Iowa4HAlum
* Iowa4HAlumStoryCounty
* FarmHouse-Networking
* FH-ISU-alums
You can contact me at ben@burnett.ws through LinkedIn or otherwise, I'll try not to IDK your invite, but I do not connect with everyone, I am an open but limited networker. I am interested in past acquaintances, friends, wireless and R&D professionals.

I started LinkedMinnesota, LinkedTwinCities and LinkedIowa to help people network, learn how to network better, and to help them learn how to use LinkedIn better. These groups have grown to include 8,000+ people across 3 platforms from LinkedIn to Yahoo groups to Facebook (coming soon)...
