Before I lived 3 and ½ years in Mexico City working for GE Capital Bank Mexico. Started there as the FP&A and Pricing Manager (2005) and got promoted to be the CFO for the Bank Consumer Finance Products in 2007 (a $0.9BN USD Portfolio that delivered $11.3 MM USD Earnings in 2007). I have a Bachelor in Business and Administration from the "Universidade Internacional Portugal" and a Post Graduation in Managerial Skills from the "Tecnológico de Monterrey" University of Mexico.
I have been growing my career in GE for the past 9 years. Started in GE Fleet Services Portugal (3 and a ½ years) as a Key Account and moved to a Sales Manager role where I led and promoted commercial relationships with companies such as Bayer, Merck and Siemens. After I was invited to move back to a finance role as the Strategic Pricing Leader for GE Consumer Finance Portugal (3 years) where I developed and introduced Personal Loans, Mortgage (Home Lending and Mortgage refinancing) and Debt Consolidation products. I was also the Finance Project Leader for the business Data Warehouse implementation.
Before GE I first started my career in Arthur Andersen (2 years) where I learned and developed my Controllership knowledge in local and US GAAP having provided financial services to various local and multinational companies such as Shell and GE.
I am fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish and I have a good working knowledge of French. I am also Quality trained and certified and I have been a member in various due diligence processes such as the “BAC Credomatic” deal in Central America.
I am looking to continue my career growth as an expatriate for the following years.
