Currently I'm working as a Reditus independent consultant for SogrupoSI (Caixa Geral de Depósitos) as a member of the Infrastructure Projetcs Team, and teaching Windows to young people for Grupo Unicenter, and developping my network.

Last year I made a project to AXA Insurance involving Oracle Designer and a project to Portugal Telecom Comunicações, to adapt their backup strategy in their Voice Mail system to the new Unisys Clearpath technology.
I'm a Certified Instructor by te competent portuguese authority.
I worked a long time at Unisys Portugal (25 years).
Lately (since 2000) I was Technical Architect in the Telecoms group, we did mainly services in the area of Voice Mail Systems, but not exclusively.
Before was Helpdesk Manager as outsourcing for a Instituto de Gestão das Lojas do Cidadão, Systems Administrator for Companhia de Seguros Tranquilidade.

Made a large variety of services using Mapper software, from product support, to application design, analisys, implementation and testing.

Project for technology update of the Voice Mail System, for Portugal Telecom Comunicações, with the responsibility to change the current backup strategy. This included databases and conventional files. This Project was concluded with success, using the full capacity and features of the new hardware, specially the new tape drives, to maximize the safety of the client data and reducing human intervention. This included design, conception, programming, testing and implementation I the client’s environment.

Development of a project at AXA Seguros. This Project consisted in documenting the physical model of their Oracle database, using a case tool, Oracle Designer 10g. Starting from the reverse engineering of the production database to Oracle Designer, a support to the documentation was created, and the translation of entities and attributes, to Portuguese, was done.
