Anna Farmery’s Summary

After 20 years of being a Corporate Finance and HR Director, 2006 was the year that I branched out on my own.
I started The Engaging Brand to bring a freshness to the world of engagement. Engagement with your brand starts from within the company with the employees and now with social media, leaders have a whole array of new tools to use to express the personality of their brand.

I spend much of my time speaking on how social media is changing the world of engagement. I love speaking at events and inspiring people on how to use social media to create engagement to their brand.

I also run a successful leadership podcast called The Engaging Brand, which in 2007 was nominated for the Best Business podcast.This podcast covers all aspects of engagement - leadership, branding and marketing.

When I started The Engaging Brand, I wished that I had someone to talk to about how to use social media and how to use it to develop my small business. This was the reason that I started The Podcast Sisters - a blog and podcast to help the "Non Geek" understand all the terminology and how to use it for your own life, both personal and professional lives. My other wonderful business sisters are Heather Gorringe and Krishna De, and we love helping others to enjoy the huge power of Web 2.0.

I have a huge passion for helping others achieve the success that they deserve, and I want to spend the rest of my career creating a legacy of helping others get the best out of their talent.
