I "found" IP or maybe it found me in 2001 in a Starbucks in Palo Alto. Now I see it as central to everything. Businesses that understand and manage their IP perform better on capital markets, sell for more and manage risk better.
But only a small small percentage of people really truly get it, and a smaller number still do anything about it. So that's our market and our goal, IP evangelism.
On the side, ha ha, there's a wonderful family for me to be humbled by and to enjoy.
So that's it in a nutshell, family and IP. Enough for any man.
Translation of the relevance of something supposedly complex into something understandable.

ipVA is an IP strategy/advisory and IP ratings business. We started in London in mid 2005 and now have offices in London, Thames Valley, Munich and Gothenberg. Our ethos is simple--IPR understanding and sophistication for the masses not the elite. Our clients are made up of SME's (mainly VC or PE backed) and a few large corporates. Its huge fun to be evangelising in this area, aiming to bring Europe's standards up several notches in this business critical area.
One of our notable development areas is our ratings engine. If you want to know how you compare against best practice, ask us.
