I have worked in some of the leading organizations focused on bringing transparency to domestic government including Project Vote Smart, Sunlight Foundation and the Center for Public Integrity. I also pioneered a project to create a map of speed, price, availability and competition for broadband internet access in the United States, aided Rwandan orphans in telling the tale of reconciliations and peace, and led the movement to draft Michael Bloomberg as an independent candidate in the 2008 presidential race at uniteformike.com. Most recently, I formulated the online engagement strategy for the “No Farms No Food” campaign at the American Farmland Trust engaging farmers and local food enthusiasts to save the farms that feed us. The common thread through my career is a broad commitment to public service, pragmatic consideration of issues, and the utilization of peer-based tools to learn, educate, organize and act.
