Direct a $65 million capital fundraising effort in support of expanded emergency, diagnostic and acute care facilities and technology at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.
Develop physician, administrative and volunteer support for goals of the capital fundraising effort.
Increase donor prospects through a multitude of programs, activities, networking and other development opportunities.

Responsible for generating $20+ million in fundraising revenues in four years. Increased annual fundraising from $500,000 (FY1999) to $7.5 million (FY2004). Responsible for all fundraising efforts for two hospitals (Palomar Medical Center, Escondido; Pomerado Hospital, Poway) and all related programs and services of health care district.
Develop pre-capital campaign strategy, leadership, prospects for an upcoming $100 million capital fundraising campaign.
Develop vision, strategic plan, staff and volunteer leadership for the Foundation of Palomar Pomerado Health, the largest hospital district in the State of California. Oversee 25-member volunteer Board of Directors.
Manage eight-member team responsible for annual, major and planned giving, corporate gifts, grants, events, volunteers and strategic community partnerships. Responsible for budget of $1.3 million.
Develop grass-roots volunteer structure that includes the cultivation of more than 200 community leaders representing five distinct geographic areas in support of Foundation goals and objectives.
Recruit and manage executive level volunteer leadership in support of strategic future campaign objectives for the Foundation
Provide short and long-term fundraising and partnership-building strategy and counsel to the Palomar Pomerado Health President and Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.
Provide key leadership for successful campaign for $496 million general obligation bond measure on the November 2, 2004 general election ballot (requiring 2/3 voter approval).
Serve as a member of the executive management team for Palomar Pomerado Health, which oversees two acute care hospitals, two skilled nursing facilities, behavioral health, home health and ancillary programs and services in North San Diego County.
