Aníbal Freytes’s Summary
I possess extensive knowledge in many aspects of information technology both technical and administrative. To summarize quickly: I graduated at the top of my class in Information Systems Business Administration from a fully accredited university. I have over 10 years of professional job experience, including four as Director of Information Systems for a mid-size local government agency. My experience with computers and information systems in general date back to more than 20 years of continuous learning which help me get acquainted quickly with new and emerging technologies.
In my last job as a consultant I did everything from customer service to hardware repairs. However I am most proud of having added open source content management systems to the company's portfolio in order to effectively implement and maintain several interactive websites. I also considerably added value to the company's inventory system offering, using VB.Net and Microsoft SQL to completely redesigning the application's GUI and add a module for the use of bar code scanners. Last but not least, I excelled at customer service. I worked closely with all of my assigned clients, and helped boost their confidence in the company I worked for. I also have experience with project management, I have been technical lead of various information systems projects which required working closely with the appointed project manager, external consultants, vendors and other employees to achieve successful project realizations. I also posses considerable experience in employee supervision. Since I worked for four years in the agency which oversees the government of Puerto Rico's human resources public policy (ORHELA), I am also familiar with most human resources processes. Finally I am completely bilingual, speaking and writing fluently both in English and Spanish.
