  • Regional Senior Analyst (Senior HR Officer), HR Strategy & Planning

    DHL Express

(Public Company; DHL; Logistics and Supply Chain industry)

    August 2008June 2009 (11 months)

I was responsible for talent recognition programs, job evaluation and grading, reorganization initiatives and regional HR metrics.

    Key Accomplishments:

    · Developed the communication and rollout of a large-scale reorganization initiative across Asia Pacific that led to a saving of € 18m. I was also tasked to create policies to ensure that impacted employees are dealt with as consistently as possible and in a way that protects DHL’s reputation as an employer. The project was nominated for a change management award by HRM in February 2009.

    · Led a diverse team responsible for the management of a key talent retention strategy - annual Employee Recognition Program and the Sales Incentive Program. Apart from the actual events, my role included the management of the nomination process, budgeting, negotiation of contracts with various vendors and communication. Both programs set a new benchmark for the quality of such programs within DHL and I also saved over € 50k in budgeted expenses.

    · Successfully negotiated a solution to a long-standing issue related to job grades in the Operations function through proper analysis, negotiations and communication with senior business leaders.
