Research project involved producing a stable system in pMDI aerosol propellants, which forms a drug carrier upon delivery from the device. Mixed solvent systems in HFA aerosol propellants, containing dissolved carrier-forming materials, such as phosphatidylcholines and non-ionic surfactants, were prepared in order to achieve a novel time-release profile.

Best Final Year Project Award: Decalin-induced α2-U globulin nephropathy in the Hannover Wistar male rat. The study aimed at obtaining two marketing authorisations for two drugs that were under development in GlaxoSmithKline laboratories.
