After one month with Nikki's Sushi, I've been asked to take the Server Manager position at Nikki's Hibachi. Responsibilities include making the server and bartender schedules each week, assigning and supervising servers' side work and cut work, interviewing and hiring new servers as necessary, assessing server performance and removing servers from the team if necessary. As server manager I work side-by-side with the bar manager and report directly to Nikki's owners.

I was hired by Shift Global to replace its Office Manager. With a relatively small office and staff of 15, this rapidly growing company still required little of its office manager, which left me with a good deal of bandwidth. As I began asking to help other members of the team with their projects to fill this time, my job quickly morphed into a multifaceted position with ever-changing requirements. These included work in the fields of copywriting and copy editing, research, data maintenance and archiving.
