With over 12 years of experience in different fields including: Green Development, Sustainable Development & Green Economy. In addition to her expertise in developing policies, strategies and regulatory framework in Air Quality, Climate Change Adaptation, Waste & Chemicals Management. Aisha had worked in managing BOOT and PPP projects in Sewerage Infrastructure, Sewage Treatment Plants and Waste Management Projects in addition to managing EPCM firms to ensure that the Construction Environmental and Social Management Plan (CESMP) is implemented in Aluminum Industry and the project construction is executed in an environmental compliance with all applicable standards. She is appointed recently as a Director of Green Development at UAE Ministry of Environment and Water. In her new role, she is responsible for developing national green development policies and strategies and regulatory framework for transformation to green economy. Also she is developing the necessary policies for the private sector contribution in green development and monitoring the transformation of country toward green economy.
Aisha had worked as consultant with different professional firms to develop strategies and master plans for water resources management.
Aisha is holding a master degree in Project management from the British University in Dubai with a and Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain. Her dissertation was about preparing an action plan for sustainable procurement of the public projects in general and infrastructure projects in particular.

Developing the master plan for the integrated waste management for the country
Developing the policy, legislation and guidelines for the waste management for the country.
Assessing the chemicals and hazardous materials transboundary as per BAZEL convention.
Review the current waste management practices and provide advice on proper and safer practices.
Coordinating with stakeholders for all related works of waste management
Reviewing the different guidelines prepared by concerned authorities such as ESMA for safe disposal of different wastes categories.
Ensure that the project environmental concerns have been implemented to a satisfied level and that all remaining issues have been properly addressed and solved. Liaise with relevant site role players as well as external stakeholders regarding a wide variety of environmental related issues. Ensure that EPCM has a credible, practical and meaningful environmental management system developed and implemented. Ensure that the commitments made in relation to Community Engagement Plan (CEP) are thoroughly fulfilled.Ensure that EPCM have developed and implemented adequate environmental procedures, programs, and mitigation measures to minimize environmental impacts during the construction period to the greatest extent reasonably possible.
Monitoring and following up different infrastructure projects that are developed by Besix Group. Examples of these projects are Ajman Sewerage Project, which is the first Public Private Partnership project in Ajman for developing the sewerage infrastructure in the Emirate of Ajman. Another example is developing a BOOT scheme for building a tanker discharging facility and wastewater treatment plant for industrial areas at Sharjah.
Developing technical strategies for the major developers in Ajman to provide an integrated sewerage infrastructure scheme that would serve their mega projects.
Developing strategies for optimizing the operation and maintenance of the treatment plants.
Conducting due diligence assessment for treatment plants operation and maintenance.
To set up and liaise with the concerned authorities the regulations and legislation that would be necessary to govern the organization operations.
Coordinating different media campaigns to strengthen the company role in the community and be more committed to social responsibility.
