Aaron worked as an intern in the Mental Health and Case Management Departments. His responsibilities included client intake, apartment inspections, support group facilitation, and administrative tasks, among others. Aaron worked directly with the Prison Action Team, as well as the Public Policy Department. He met weekly with administrators and clients to assure the well-being of both the agency and its clients.

Aaron serves as Coordinator of the 12-person Queer Resource Center, a peer counseling and education organization. He also works as a liason for the Activist Resource Center.
Aaron was awarded a Teaching Fellowship for the course entitled "Internship in Peace, Conflict and Coexistence Studies." He was also awarded a $3,500 stipend as a World-of-Work Fellow for his internship at Gay Men's Health Crisis.
Aaron speaks French, and is studying Spanish.
