Hired as onsite project manager to complete new ground-up hotels in various parts of the country. This company’s bid method was GMAX contracts. It was my responsibility to “buy out” the project with local trades or national vendors once I had arrived to set-up the site. All buy-out, purchase orders and subcontracts were coordinated with the home office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Upon ground breaking a superintendent and field administrative assistant was hired to work with me onsite. Coordinated weekly progress meetings, safety adherence, monthly draw requests and creation of monthly invoice to client. Project bonus paid to project managers based off percentage of gross savings to client after final reconciliation of costs.

Steve Buell’s Groups:
Created the Canyon Creek Youth Music Program. This music program promotes public perfomances of middle and high school musicians in the Canyon Creek subdivision. Students who participate in the program can raise money for their own charity or apply practice and playing hours to Community Service Hours for a college transcript.

Helped to form a foundation for Miguel Hernandez, a local contractor in need of a kidney transplant. A fundraiser will be held in August 2008, with a goal of raising $20,000 to pay for the balance of his medical bills.
