  I taught wildlife management and general systems ecology for 38 years at Va Tech, Blacksburg, and before that, wildlife management at the University of Idaho. I did PhD work on pesticide impacts on forested areas and (with grad students) environmental impact studies on powerlines, mining, and general aviation airports. I now develop a web site and attempt to get the company Rural System (at www.RuralSystem.com) started. The blog "Faunal Force" is underway.
