Reporter at The Wenatchee World, Music columnist and blogger for The Seattle P-I
Yakima, Washington Area
In my current position my role is an online content developer for a newspaper's Web site. Or, more simply put, I am the sole online reporter at a mid-sized (25,000 circ.) daily newspaper. I have a solid background in journalism and am currently working to expand my online and multimedia development skills. I also freelance a weekly music column for a daily metropolitan newspaper in Seattle and operate an award-winning blog in my free time.
I've spent several years as a reporter handling various beats ranging from cops and courts to arts and entertainment. I currently manage three blogs, two of which focus on music. I have been covering the national and local music scenes for nearly a decade and have a strong knowledge and interest in a broad range of musical genres. My software experience includes: Adobe InDesign, InCopy, WordPress, MS Office, Photoshop, iWeb, iMovie and other programs.
