Responsible for the development of key techniques for DEM (Discrete Element Method) simulation of industrial particulate processes including representation of non-spherical particles and 3D CAD geometry, and the coupling of DEM with continuum-based numerical methods. Founded DEM Solutions in 2002. The company has grown to become the global leader in discrete element modelling software. Long established as research tool for granular mechanics, DEM is now the fastest growing segment of the CAE software market.
