Bruce Ringrose’s Summary
Bruce Ringrose is Vice President of Business Development for ClimateCHECK. In this capacity, Bruce leads the management of solutions development, commercial partnership programs and client management.
Bruce has over 12 years experience in the development, management and strategic positioning of R&D product programs, technology demonstrations and deployment in the sustainable energy sector that involve multi stakeholder and jurisdictional interests. Furthermore, Bruce has established two start up companies in Canada with a mandate of International technology partnerships.
Mr. Ringrose’s experience includes 8 years of private sector and 4 years of public sector in undertaking multi-stakeholder initiatives and strategically managing technology to the market. During his tenure at the Government of Canada’s GHG Technology Investment fund, Bruce played an integral role in project development and financing. He was instrumental in developing seventeen (17) innovative technology demonstration projects valued in excess of $85 Million and managed a portfolio of an additional 28 projects valued at $145 Million. Furthermore, he was active in several commercialization committees for emerging Energy technologies and policy formulation for the Government of Canada.
His private sector experience includes establishing start up companies, Project management and R&D coordination activities valued at $5M. Bruce’s role in Technology Development for a technology conversion company was to manage the company’s R&D and value added products, research in partnership with targeted end-users in the following areas:
• Petroleum Upgrading Programs
• Alternative Fuels Research Program
• Resin Development Program
• Technology By-products Research
