A Leading District Sales Manager For Vistakon
Ryan Honl currently serves as District Sales Manager in charge of ophthalmic pharmaceuticals for contact lens supplier VISTAKON PHARMACEUTICALS, a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care. Working His Way Up Ladder At Santen
Prior to Vistakon, Ryan Honl worked from ’03 to ’04 as District Sales Manager in charge of ophthalmic pharmaceuticals for SANTEN, INC. At this point in his career, Ryan Honl’s responsibilities included managing a team of nine sales reps. Ryan Honl’s achievements with Santen include hitting a 115% sales quota and completing a REACH management course. Ryan Honl made the shift to Vistakon when Santen was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in ’04.
Ryan Honl worked his way up the ranks at Santen with two previous positions. In ’02, he was named Sales Training Manager in the ophthalmic pharmaceuticals division. Working with the Director of Sales Training, Ryan Honl assisted in the training of Santen’s national sales force—some 64 sales reps in all.
Ryan Honl first joined Santen as a Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, a position he held from ’00 to ’02. As sales rep, Ryan Honl managed approximately 200 accounts. During the two years, Ryan Honl was honored as Sales Representative of the Quarter for the Southeast Region during two consecutive quarters in ’01, and for achieving the highest market share in the sales force for a Santen product during one quarter in ’02.
