Tony Guerra joined CETRA in June 2007 as head of the new interpretation division. He holds an MFA from Temple University and a BFA from Philadelphia’s University of the Arts. A native of Havana, Cuba, Tony has been involved with the language services industry since 1994, first as chief editor of Spanish content for Dun & Bradstreet’s Donnelley Directory, then as Education Marketing Manager for NJ based Franklin Electronic Publishers, maker of language hand-held electronic dictionaries, and also as a Strategic Planner for Hispanic Marketing Initiatives at SAI Marketing in Willow Grove. In 2001 he became a language services and communications consultant, specializing in Spanish legal, medical and labor translations, interpretations and communications for law firms, hospitals, corporations and language agencies until 2005, when he assumed the position of Director of Translation and Interpretation at Nationalities Service Center in Philadelphia.
