Seeking position as an Applications Programmer/Analyst - IVR, web, SQL database, ASP applications
Charlottesville, Virginia Area
Seeking a Programmer/analyst position with emphasis on developing customer applications: interactive self-service applications (IVR, web, call center, etc), administrative systems, and customized databases. 40-hour salaried job, with family medical/dental/vision benefits.
My residence is in Dayton Virginia, about 120 miles southwest of Washington DC. I prefer a mostly-telecommuting arrangement from an office in my house. This has worked very well from 1999-present, with an ISDN and phone connections.
My major development projects to date have been for large corporations, state and local governments, and universities. The user interface is typically web-based, telephone touchtone, and/or speech recognition. Communication is typically with a business layer of SQL Server stored procedures and tables, XML web services, or with a legacy mainframe host.
Business and public service applications: SQL application developer, Web, IVR, SQL Server 2000/2005, Oracle, XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP, ASP, XSL, TCP/IP, EPOS Firstline Encore, Nuance, Client/server, ODBC, DTS packages, SSIS, database integration and design, systems integration and development.
SQL Server database applications, Web/HTML/CSS/XML/ASP coding and testing, IVR application design and development, interactive self-service systems, harpsichord, organ
