I have been helping to create new librarians for more than a quarter of a century. In addition to teaching, I coordinate doctoral studies at Simmons GSLIS, am co-editor of Library & Information Science Research, a well-regarded peer-reviewed journal.
My teaching areas include organization, cataloguing, classification, indexing, digital libraries, Web design, and related topics.

I am a faculty member of the Graduate School of Library & Information Science at Simmons. I currently teach in the areas of information organization, bibliographic control, subjecy analysis, thesauri and taxonomies, and digital libraries. I am also Coordinator of Doctoral Studies.
