Host of Anarchy Overnight (The Mike Rau Show), a nightly four-hour live talk radio show focused on politics and policy. Although ratings increased almost ten-fold in the time slot over the show's run, it was canceled and replaced with free syndicated programming as a cost-cutting measure. The company that owned the station at the time no longer exists.

Besides being primary media spokesperson and liaison for the organization, responsibilities included copywriting and/or editing of all campaign related text, issuing press releases, and negotiating and conducting media buys. Participated in planning and executing all major special events for the organization in Virginia and D.C., and served as Mr. Perot's assistant press secretary during his visits to the state. Served on both the state and district steering committees of United We Stand, America.
