Vice President of Digital Media at GCI Group
Greater Atlanta Area
Aa a fourth-generation journalist, I've written and edited the news for more than two decades - the last 10 being at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I've covered two international conflicts, garnered more than a dozen national and state awards and attended the Nieman Conference on Narrative Editing at Harvard.
Now, I've developed a new passion - creating strategy for digital media in the rapidly changing world of communication. With placements already in The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones, a host of women's magazines, online venues, local newspapers and radio stations, I am delighted to participate in this new frontier of public relations at GCI Group -- built upon my experience as a former VP of Media Strategy and editor of www.momseasychair.com, an award-winning 20,000 subscription ezine.
In a completely different realm of my life, I'm a founding partner in Xpace, LLC, a software development company.
Digital media, media strategy, specializing in health care, technology and consumer products; new media - former editor of ezine; high level editing and writing.
