System Architect at Online Talent Manager
Breda Area, Netherlands
We have been hard at work over the last 6 years developing psychological tests and the infrastructure around those tests for psychologists for use in the work place. At the end of 2007, I started to do some rethinking about our product line. Our instruments (the tests and the features of the test/reporting system) were only being used by psychologists in selection assessment and coaching projects. But the real power of the Online Talent Manager is in the intuitiveness and reliability of the Octogram test.
So, in 2008 I have been focusing on integrating our psychological instruments into other products where there is a good fit. I created a proof of concept web site to showcase a matching system for non-psychologists (http://www.otm-recruit.com). I also started developing the integration tools for hooking up with our yearly review instrument.
We are working now with Netive, a company that provides a complete administrative suite for flex workers. For them, we provide an additional dossier of information about the candidates passing through their system and provide matching services between the function and the candidate.
3 other companies are now in the negotiation phase.
I can see that this is the direction of our future: Integrating with and enhancing the software products of others. I don't want to write another job board, I want to make someone else's board better.
Ability to put myself into the customer's position and create programs that are intuitive and helpful. Synergy - connecting the dots - Surprise.
