My professional goal is to continue my career in the Internet and New Technologies industry as a SEO specialist or content manager, managing and creating content, as well as localisation projects, within a portal. I am especially interested in this industry because it is very dynamic and innovative; hence it implies continuous learning to be up to date with new trends.
My experience to date is related to two different sectors that are complementary: search engine optimization and translation and software localisation.
From last September I am working in a marketing online agency as an “SEO and Online Marketing Consultant”. My job gives me the opportunity of managing the process of web design, to create strategies to promote sites and keep on learning everyday.
Until last August I worked in the Search Quality Department run by Matt Cutts at Google, in Dublin. My job there gave me the opportunity to know how search engines work first hand, as well as experiencing working in one of the most important companies in the World.
Beforehand I worked in the translation and localisation industry as a Project Manager in two of the most important agencies in Spain. My tasks included managing long-term translation and localisation projects for clients like Lloyd’s, Arthur Andersen or Philips, where I developed my organisation and managerial skills.
My personal experience living abroad (in Ireland, United Kingdom, France and Italy) gives me an international background that broadens my understanding of different scenarios. Furthermore, my complementary education and professional experience enables me to adapt to different environments, sectors, and changing situations. I greatly enjoy team work and I have a natural ability to lead and supervise other people.
