I am a self-employed community ICT development worker. My focus is on supporting community organisations and government agencies to run capacity building, advocacy and knowledge sharing projects.
Currently I am project manager for a national project building an online communications platform for the tangata whenua, community and voluntary sector.
While I'm excited by the potential for using social media and online tools to help bring about social and environmental change, I'm also conscious that without training and support people can't use them powerfully. That's why I'm writing and running training sessions, as well as consulting and advising organisations.
