In a strategic new program designed to address the workforce needs of Virginia’s major corporations and leading employers, the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges has launched its Center for Career & Workforce Development.
The mission of the Center is to provide a cost- and time-effective gateway for corporate HR departments to recruit interns and new employees from the pool of over 20,000 students enrolled at the 15 private liberal arts colleges which are in the VFIC consortium.
A one-stop shop to get access to a talent pool of 20,000 college students statewide.
The 15 Member Colleges in the VFIC consortium are the leading private colleges and universities in Virginia, providing time-tested top quality higher education to more than 20,000 undergraduate students. The VFIC member colleges offer students small class sizes, excellent undergraduate teaching, and a strong commitment to ethics and values.
