EXPERIENCE:
In broadcasting since 1982. Currently doing a mixture of broadcast news, documentaries, corporate brand films, commercials and radio.
As a journalist I've worked in investigative, magazine and documentary programming. I've been an on-camera reporter, a producer and director. Worked at ABC News, CNN and, since 2001, independently. Recent clients have been Frontline-World, 60 Minutes, 20/20, CNBC Business Nation, CNN Presents, Fox News. (Specials with Bill O'Reilly). My radio program ("Conversations with David Lewis") airs in Atlanta on AM1690 and my assignment is to interview anyone I want about anything: authors, spies, comedians, movie-directors, security experts in Iraq and so on. Salman Rushdie to Grandmaster Flash to Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. And I do occasional media consulting for an eclectic assortment of clients in the US, Middle East and Latin America, including a Presidential candidate and a major security firm.
GOALS:
To keep telling compelling stories in a range of mediums: tv, radio and corporate communications.
An ability to enter any world and get people to tell me their stories. This could be within a corporation or inside a terrorist group.
