My background is at start-ups and young technology companies, creating first phase revenue, marketing, testing sales concepts, developing brand, sales research and in general creating sales at young technology companies. My interest has always been in promoting products, publications, catalogs and services that offer cutting-edge tech solutions.

In 2004 I moved from Silicon Valley to the Mendocino Coast. In February 2007, PG&E applied for a FERC Preliminary Wave Energy Development Permit. The actions of PG&E and FERC indicate a pervasive unwillingness to incorporate local participation in the development process. Fort Bragg and Mendocino County have slowly awakened to learn that the Mendocino Coast (make that all U.S. Coasts three miles out) may soon be controlled by Washington D.C and corporations.

In September '07, MendoCoastCurrent was launched to cover this Wave Energy Development project and renewable energy development around the world. As I track, observe, participate and write, I am becoming fully aware of the complexity of issues that renewable energy solutions bring. I sincerely wish us the best of luck in transitioning from Peak Oil to incorporating environmentally-sound renewable energy technologies!
