Joseph Pendry has more than 12 years of experience managing strategic marketing and public relations programs for a variety of innovative technology market leaders. In his role as Director of Marketing for StackSafe, Pendry is responsible for the execution of marketing, public relations, content development and new media programs.
In his previous role as Account Director at O’Keeffe & Company, a technology marketing consulting agency based in Washington, D.C., Pendry developed and managed the execution of innovative campaigns designed to effectively position his clients – including General Dynamics, Juniper Networks, and Akamai – as leaders in their respective markets. His work at O’Keeffe led to numerous industry accolades including the 2007 Mark Award for Marketing Excellence for his work with Time Warner Cable.
Prior to joining O’Keeffe, Pendry served as a member of the Booz Allen Hamilton consulting staff that assisted the Director of Cyber Security at the Department of Homeland Security. Joe was instrumental in establishing the agency’s first automated National Cyber Alert System that attracted more than a quarter of a million subscribers to the service’s Web site in its first month of operation.
Pendry has been quoted as an industry expert and authored numerous articles on a variety of market and technology subjects. He has led marketing efforts that contributed to substantial growth for companies including Riptech, Inc., which was acquired by Symantec in 2002..
Pendry received a master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
