“In broad terms, my research addresses the challenges and possibilities to democratize police power as a key dimension needed to further democracy. I am interested to learn from individuals and groups carrying out projects on policing (& democratization), police discretion, executive/police prerogatives, discretionary power & governance, citizen security, democratic police reform, and experiences with different forms of accountability...especially (but not only) throughout Latin America.”
