Here I was responsible for the complete marketing mix of major events in the city.
This included - St Patricks Day Parade, The Birmingham Carnival, VE Day Celebrations, Fireworks Fantasia, Fireworks Spectacular, Vishaki, Eid Mela, Rathayatra Festival, Chinese New Year, National Holocaust Day, New Years Eve, Christmas Lights Switch On, Christmas Canal Boat Light Parade, Reindeer Walk, Pantomime Horse Grand and a host of other public points.
This included the creation and approval of a communications plan for each project and the implementation of advertising, outdoor media, press activity, cross marketing, print and emarketing, media and crisis media management on the day/night followed by evaluation for each project.
In one year I obtained over £5.8 Million worth of media coverage for the events that I managed.
