Marc Boucher is an entrepreneur, technologist, explorer and bon vivant. He came into his own when spurred on by his brother, he decided to start his first business in 1991 and hasn't looked back since.
Boucher is the founder of Hyperix Search, Inc., aTerra Technologies Corp., co-founder of SpaceRef Interactive and the Mars Institute.
Since 1991 has been on bleeding edge of Internet trends and has been described as an Internet visionary. Products he's launched include SportsWorld (1992), @Canadas.net (1995), Maple Square (1996) and SpaceRef.com (1999). In 2002 he co-founded the Mars Institute a not for profit research institute focusing on science and exploration of the planet Mars and has since concluded contracts with the Canadian Space Agency, NASA and others.
Currently Boucher is also developing a vertical search platform, building on existing technologies previously developed at Maple Square combined with new technologies.

We have developed a vertical search platform used to create specialty, or vertical, search engines.
The Hyperix vertical search platform is the result of many years of hard work by many individuals. Currently our web crawlers are actively gathering data which we are using to test our platform.

Did not complete a degree, became an entrepreneur instead and have never looked back.
